THEATER
For those looking for a night of entertainment, the Poconos does not disappoint. Celebrate 40 years with the Shawnee Playhouse. Enjoy dinner and a show at this historic local theater. Want to sing along to some live music? There’s always a great band performing at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. In business for over 135 years, this is one of the oldest vaudeville theaters in the country.
While you are in town, check out the Sherman Theater. Located in Stroudsburg, it’s the perfect venue to grab a show with friends and then head to one of the local spots for a drink afterwards. As you can see, there’s no shortage of music and theater attractions in the Poconos.
