What prompted the name? We felt it to be the simplest way to describe somewhat what we have to offer naturewise and otherwise. Natural beauty in all seasons – acres of ground with spacious lawns, woods, a tumbling stream to fish or wade in and heated swimming pool where you can enjoy lounging with other guests or sitting under the umbrellas about the pool.
Our cottages have complete housekeeping facilities and comforts of home – automatic heat, fireplace, colored cable TV, picture windows, all porches with glider, and picnic table and benches.
For your enjoyment at Countryside there is a tennis and basketball court, a recreation room, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, swimming and fishing, in season.
For those interested in other activities, nearby there is golfing, bowling, riding stables, country fairs, auctions, theatres, dancing, winter sports of all kinds. Shopping centers are a short distance with conveniently located laundromats, restaurants and Churches, of all denominations.
Since you are looking for a vacation, we have nothing planned. Everything is here for you to enjoy as you like it… either with your own family group or with other guests.
